The First Stage of the 2012 PSFCU
Scholarship Program Has Begun!
As in previous years, PSFCU has begun the new Scholarship Program for high-school graduates. The program aims at rewarding young and ambitious PSFCU members who require financial assistance to begin their college education.
The Scholarship Program for high-school graduates constitutes a part of the overall PSFCU Scholarship Program. It is geared towards college-bound senior high-school students. The program is administered jointly by PSFCU and the Credit Union Association of New York (CUANY), an association of 600 credit unions in the state of New York. Scholarship candidates must be PSFCU members and primary account holders at our Credit Union. They will be assessed based on their study results, extracurricular activities, community services and a short essay on a provided subject. Program participation requirements and application forms are available under “Scholarship programs” and at all PSFCU branches.
PLEASE NOTE! The deadline for submitting applications by senior high-school students is January 20, 2012! Applications must be submitted at PSFCU branches for verification of membership. After verification is complete, all qualifying submissions will be forwarded to CUANY. Winners will be announced after PSFCU receives the results from CUANY.
