PSFCU at the Pulaski Day Parade
As every year, volunteers and employees of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union and their families and friends marched up New York City’s Fifth Avenue in the Pulaski Day Parade.
On a sunny first Sunday of October, the PSFCU contingent of several dozen people marched down prestigious New York’s street. At this year’s annual Pulaski Day Parade, once was not enough for National Credit Union Administration Board Member J. Mark McWatters, who not only walked to start the parade as the Honorary Grand Marshal, but later marched the route again with employees and volunteers of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union accompanied by Mr. Bogdan Chmielewski, PSFCU CEO/President, and Mr. Krzysztof Matyszczyk, PSFCU Chairman of the Board. “A number of years ago I was in New York and I run across the parade and all these people dressed red and white. It was delightful so I stopped and watched the parade. And fifteen years later I am marching in a parade as the Honorary Grand Marshal – Mr. McWatters said.
This year, representatives of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union also participated in the Pulaski Day Parade, which crossed the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. Employees of PSFCU Branch in Trenton marched through the streets of the city, joined by the Mobile Branch.
