Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union’s New Scholarship Program for 2007
The PSFCU is inviting our young and ambitious members,
who need financial help in realizing their academic dreams, to apply for a PSFCU scholarship.
Just like last year, the PSFCU Board of Directors has approved $300,000 for two scholarship programs in 2007.
The first program is offered in cooperation with the New York State Credit Union League (NYSCUL) and is dedicated to high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall of this year.
Candidates must be members of PSFCU and the primary owners of the share account with PSFCU. Applicants will be judged on academic achievements, extra curricular activities as well as an essay. Applications are available at all PSFCU branches and on our website www.psfcu.com.
Please note: The deadline for submitting an application for the NYSCUL program is February 15, 2007. All applications must be delivered to one of PSFCU’s branches for membership verification by this deadline. After the verification process, all applications will be forwarded to the NYSCUL. The winners will be announced upon receiving the results from the NYSCUL.

The second program is PSFCU’s “in-house” program which applies to graduate and undergraduate students. As with the first program, applicants must also be members of PSFCU and be the primary owners of the share account with PSFCU. Grants will be awarded by the Scholarship Committee based on academic achievements, extra curricular activities and active involvement in organizations serving Polonia.
Applications for the PSFCU Scholarship Program are available in all PSFCU branches and on our website www.psfcu.com.
We wish a best of luck to all applicants of the two scholarship programs.
