Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting and Election Results
On Sunday, June 18th, 2006 at 2pm, the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union’s Annual Meeting took place, at which the election results were also announced. The meeting was held in Greenpoint at 176 Java Street.
Members, Management and Board of Directors participated in the meeting, during which one of the important items presented, were the voting results of this year’s election. The agenda for the meeting included: the Call to Order by the Chairman, singing of the Polish and American National Anthems, presentation of the 2005 Financial Report and Achievements, Open Discussion and the voting results.
Members were presented with reports that summarized the Credit Union’s activities for 2005. They were: The Chairman’s Report presented by Alex Storozynski, Treasurer’s Report was presented by Marcin Sar, Achievements were presented by CEO, Alicja Malecka and the Supervisory Committee Report was presented by Robert Niziol, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee.
The last item of the meeting was the announcement of the voting results, which were presented by Election Services Corporation. The result for the three vacating seats was as follows: Elżbieta Baumgartner (1957 votes), Tomasz Bortnik (1432 votes), Bożena Kajewska-Pielarz (1105 votes). The newly elected directors will serve three year terms.
On Thursday, June 22, 2006, there was a first meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors. During that meeting the new Executive Board was elected as follows:
Krzysztof Matyszczyk - Chairman
Alex Storożynski - 1st Vice Chairman
Elżbieta Baumgartner - 2nd Vice Chairman
Marcin Sar - Treasurer
Malgorzata Wadolowski - Secretary
