Duties:

• Represent the Credit Union to the members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing of transactions;
• Provide by telephone, general and specific service-related information concerning Credit Union products, services or policies;
• Respond to members' requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct the member to the proper person for specific information and assistance;
• Assist members in balancing their accounts;
• Facilitate service activation for Online Banking and Telephone Banking;
• Assist online banking users with multifactor authentication;
• Research account discrepancies;
• Provide member service in Online Banking and Telephone Banking environment including password changes;
• Process stop payment requests for share drafts and revocation of authorization for ACH debits;
• Accept member requests for draft copies, copies of statements and account history, and copies of tax forms;
• Maintain comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the Credit Union’s line of products and services to ensure effective cross selling;
• Provide member services to ATM, VISA and Debit Card holders;
• Open/create and close ATM and Debit Card accounts;
• Facilitate Visa Card, Debit Card and ATM Card activation;
• Assist members with E-Zcardinfo.com web services;
• Process Intel-a-check payments for Visa and Loans;
• Order and reorder checkbooks from Harland Clarke;
• Perform administrative work related to opening new Shares and Loan referrals;
• Provide members with information regarding consumer loans, real estate loans, business loans, and VISA cards.
• Assist members in the completion of the Credit Card application.
• Accept Credit Card applications of all types and request all necessary documentation required to complete application;
• Perform name and address verification for merchants in regards to Visa and Debit cards;
• Provide service/information resource for co-workers;
• Effectively offer Credit Union products and services through the practice of established sales and service techniques;
• Temporarily increase credit limit on Credit Cards up to the maximum amount specified for this position;

Requirements:

• High school diploma;
• 1 – 3 years financial institution experience;
• 1 year experience in a call center or as a customer service representative;
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer software programs;
• Ability to cross sell products;
• Fluency in spoken and written Polish;
• Zero to one year of work experience, preferred, but not required in a financial institution;
